Hayo yakijiri, Waziri wa Elimu, Julius Migos Ogamba, ametoa wito kwa walimu wakuu wa shule zote za umma nchini kustahimili hali ya uchumi ilivyo kwa sasa, akisema kuwa Wizara ya Fedha itatoa shilingi bilioni 21 kuanzia Jumatatu wiki ijayo kufadhili masomo. Akizungumza katika warsha ya siku tano ya viongozi wa elimu huko Naivasha, waziri Ogamba alieleza kuwa katika bajeti ya mwaka huu, takriban shilingi bilioni 696 zimetengwa kufadhili sekta ya elimu nchini. Hata hivyo, Waziri Ogamba alidokeza kuwa kuchelewa kwa utoaji wa fedha hizo kumesababishwa na ushindani mkubwa wa rasilimali kati ya mashirika mbalimbali ya serikali.
