The Kikuyu Council of Elders has broken its silence over the ongoing unrest in the country calling for a national dialogue between government and opposition leaders to address areas of concerns raised by the youth. The Council condemned what it describes as barbaric acts of violence, destruction of property, and the killing of innocent young Kenyans during protests saying dialogue is the anecdote needed to address the crisis.
