The Ministry of Health has issued a warning to parents and guardians on the threat of the spread of Measles and Rubella disease owing to low vaccination uptake. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, speaking at the launch of an ambitious nationwide vaccination against the two diseases, said the ministry has recorded 18 measles-related deaths in the last six months. He urged parents and guardians to focus on completing vaccinations for minors.
