Leaders allied to President William Ruto gathered at Dominion Church, Nkoilale, Maasai Mara for the launch of the Five Star Music Album, a fundraising initiative in support of local musicians. While celebrating Kenya’s rich cultural diversity, the event also turned political.
Farouk Kibet led the charge, criticizing opposition leaders for what he termed as divisive politics. He called for unity and national cohesion, emphasizing that music transcends tribal lines and plays a vital role in empowering the youth.
MPs Gabriel Tongoyo (Narok West), Japhet Nyakundi (Kitutu Chache), Innocent Mugabe (Likuyani), and John Okano Bwire (Taveta) echoed Kibet’s message and pledged continued support for Kenya’s creative industry.
