Ukraine detains five in KSh12B energy sector graft probe

Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau has detained five individuals and identified seven more in a graft probe involving alleged kickbacks worth about Ksh12 billion in the country’s energy sector. The suspects include a businessman believed to be the mastermind, a former advisor to the energy minister, and an executive from the state-owned Energoatom company.
