NTSA and police launch crackdown on speeding motorists along Nairobi–Nakuru highway

    The National Transport and safety authority have issued a warning over the tampering of speed limiters in public service vehicles, amid a rise in road accidents across the country. NTSA Director of Road Safety, Andrew Kiplagat, who assessed the ongoing multi-agency highway crackdown ahead of the festive season along the Nairobi–Nakuru highway, confirmed that a significant number of PSVs have been found tampering with the device. On their part, the national police service announced the deployment of alcoblows to curb drunk driving, aimed at protecting Kenyans on the roads.
