CS Ogamba reaffirms commitment to strengthening higher education

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening higher education, improving the welfare of university staff, and aligning learning outcomes with Kenya’s digital transformation agenda. CS Ogamba further said the Government has already made partial payment of the 7.9 billion under the 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement for university lecturers with the arrears scheduled to be paid in the 2026-2027 financial year.
