Garissa county commissioner Mohamed Mwabudzo has dispelled the allegations that a taxi driver, Sheikh Ahmed Omar, was shot dead by police officers on patrol. Mwabudzo says Omar was involved in an accident while attempting to escape an arrest, adding that the post-mortem report conducted by a government pathologist has confirmed Omar succumbed to injuries resulting from a blunt force trauma caused by a road crash.
