Residents, motorists welcome dualling of Rironi-Mau Summit highway

Residents, motorists and business people along the Rironi–Mau Summit highway have welcomed the dualling of the 175-kilometre road, saying it will ease congestion and boost business. Noting that the project was long overdue, they said the frequent delays have caused losses to suppliers of perishable goods. Motorists believe the project will significantly reduce travel time between Nairobi and upcountry regions, especially through Kiambu and Nakuru counties.
