Israel accused of plan to relocate Palestinians to Somaliland

Somalia and the League of Arab states have accused Israel of seeking to relocate displaced Palestinians from Gaza to Somaliland. The accusations were levelled at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following Israel's recognition of Somaliland as an independent and sovereign state. Israel did not outrightly deny the accusation but pointed out that other nations may not have formally recognised Somaliland as an independent state, but did so in practice. The us while defending Israel's actions, fell short of joining in formal recognition of Somaliland's sovereignty.
