The National Transport and Safety Authority has launched a major crackdown along the Nairobi–Eldoret highway to tame road accidents on Kenyan roads.The operation, being carried out in conjunction with traffic police officers in Uasin Gishu County, is targeting speeding, reckless overtaking, driver fatigue, and unlicensed motorists.
