A youth lobby group has condemned what it terms as a calculated attempt to oust National Government Affirmative Action Fund Chief Executive Officer Roy Sasaka from office. The youths dismissed allegations that Sasaka wasted one billion shillings as malicious and politically motivated, saying the claims are meant to discredit his leadership. They have urged politicians linked to the matter to allow the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to conduct investigations without interference, warning against politicising the probe. The group has further vowed to stand by Sasaka until the EACC concludes its investigations and determines the outcome of the allegations.
