Education heads concerned as grade 10 reporting remains low

Speaking separately at their institutions, school heads — including representatives of the Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) — noted that reporting has been slower compared to the previous education system, despite this being the third day of admission. At Kanga High School in Migori County, Chief Principal Dr. Rueben Kodiango said the school had managed to admit only half of its targeted 730 learners by the third day. Dr. Kodiango, who also chairs KESSHA in Rongo Sub-county, said the trend is similar across the region, with school heads consulting on possible solutions to improve turnout.
