Kisii beverage plant revival plea

Residents of Kitutu central in Kisii county are pleading with the national government to revive a once-vibrant beverage plant that was shut down more than a decade ago. A closure that shattered livelihoods and left hundreds of workers staring into an uncertain future. The visibly distraught locals, who held a peaceful protest, are now making a direct and emotional appeal to president William Ruto to reconsider the reopening of the iconic plant ahead of his planned tour of the Gusii region.
