The government is investing in education infrastructure development, teacher’s training and career guidance structures to ensure learners successful transition to the Competency-Based Education system, including the expected admission of over one million learners to institutions of higher learning by 2029.Speaking during the inaugural National Career Conference at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, State Department for Higher Education Principal Secretary Beatrice Inyangala, said reforms in curriculum and pedagogy are already underway to facilitate smooth implementation of CBE in institutions of higher learning.
