Senate sets three-day plenary trial for Governor Mutai impeachment

The Impeachment Trial of Kericho Governor Eric Mutai will be held in Plenary next week. The trial will be conducted for three days between the 27th to 29th August. A motion to have the impeachment proceedings conducted by an 11-member special committee was defeated for lack of a seconder. The motion had been moved by the Senate Majority Leader, Aaron Cheruyiot.
