Kenyans have been urged to remain vigilant as they seek jobs abroad amid rising reports of cases of individuals who have been duped into fake overseas work, including deployment to the Russia–Ukraine war. In his briefing, government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura said that the government remains committed to weed out cartels in the recruitment chain to ensure the safety of all Kenyans.
