Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang’i has declared himself the best candidate to take up the presidency in next year’s election. Speaking during the launch of the Jubilee Party regional and Nakuru county headquarters in Section 58, Nakuru, Matiang’i said that if allowed to become Kenya’s sixth president, he would prioritize reforms in the health and education sectors. Several Jubilee leaders who accompanied Matiang’i rallied behind him, saying his leadership would be beneficial to Kenyans. Matiang’i is part of the United Opposition team, which has yet to pick a sole candidate to run against President Ruto in the 2027 election.
