Concerns over rising cases of human trafficking related to famine

    The National and County governments have been urged to double drought mitigation efforts to protect starving families in drought stricken counties and avert human trafficking cases related to the famine. This as an anti-human trafficking organization raised the alarm over human trafficking in Kajiado County saying young girls are being lured to the Middle East. The organization donated relief food but still called for more mitigation measures to ensure starving families are cushioned.
