KCB RFC retain Floodies title

    The season opening Impala Floodlights Rugby Tournament has brought good tidings for KCB RFC who retained the titled with a commanding 20-3 win over nondescripts RFC. KCB were too good for nondies scoring two converted tries by Andrew Amonde and Bob Wahinya and adding two penalties for the 20 points at the Impala Club. KCB has now won the season opener for four seasons in a row. On the way to the finals, KCB edgged out Kenya Harlequins 14-10 in the quarterfinals before seeing off a tough Blak Blad 14-03 in the semis. The Floodies tournament now paves way for the Kenya Cup League that kicks off in two weeks time
