Goods worth ksh.50 million seized by counterfeit authority from China Sqaure as Moses Kuria digs in

The controversy over China square continues with the store remaining closed for the second day. It is now emerging that the trouble with the store is business rivalry, with a company registered in Kenya, called smithmo company limited, claiming ownership of the trade mark, ‘Finder' a brand name under which ‘finder’ branded goods, are being sold at China square. Anti-counterfeit Authority says it is now investigating the claims and has seized goods worth 50 million shillings from the store for audit.
