The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has today nabbed a Malindi based national treasury officer, accused of selling fake operating licences to unsuspecting business operators at the Coast. Khambi Khatana was rounded up by the sleuths, following a complaint from a businessman who was swindled 10,000 shillings in a fake license sale. And as Laura Otieno reports, the EACC has called on any other business person with similar grievances to record a statement with the anti graft body.
