The National Assembly is set to resume from the long recess on Tuesday to a busy fourth Session of the 13th Parliament. Top of the agenda will be the consideration of the 2023/2024 budget as well as the second reading of the finance bill 2023 that has seen members divided over the proposals in the bill. The opposition has since threatened to disrupt the reading of the budget set for June 15th over lack of government goodwill in the now suspended bi-partisan talks.
