Bingwa wa mbio za marathon za Vienna City Samuel Nyamai aliibuka mshindiwa wa makala ya tatu ya mbio za Machakos Great Run. Nyamai alishinda na muda wa dakika 28 na sekunde mbili. Nyamai anafanya mazoezi yake katika kambi ya Vota Heroes alimaliza sekunde tisa mbele ya Charles Mbatha aliyemaliza wa pili. Kevin Kibiwot alimaliza katika nafasi ya tatu na muda wa dakika 28 na sekunde 58. Kwa upande wa akina dada, Edna Kibiwot kutoka Nyeri alimaliza mbele ya Lydia Cheruiyot na Janet Nyiva. Edward Mutunga kutoka Mwala Machakos alishinda mbio za kilomita tano. Washindi walipokea shilingi elfu 30 huku washindi wa pili wakipokea shilingi elfu 20. Mbio hizo ziliandaliwa katika bustani ya Machakos.
