DCP national women leader Cate Waruguru has criticized President William Ruto’s affordable housing program, terming it neither affordable nor practical for most Kenyans. Speaking in Nanyuki during the burial of a British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK) staff member Edward Makaveli, Waruguru described the housing plan as exploitative, claiming it mainly serves the interests of the rich, and called on residents to resist what she termed as oppressive policies.
