President william ruto has warned Members of the bicamral parliament involved in extortion that they will be arrested. The president together with ODM leader raila Odinga who hosted a joint parliamentary group meeting warned that the culture of extortion was eroding credibility of the houses. The president without mentioning names made reference to two instances where a governor parted with 150 million shillings and another where mps collected 10 million shillings to pass a law.
