A section of civil servants are up in arms over a new pension deductions effected on their July pay. The deductions made under the NSSF Act of 2013, had civil servants part with 360 shillings on their usual deductions raising eyebrows over double payment given that are already contributing to existing retirement scheme. And as Laura Otieno reports, the new deductions have sent ripples across the civil service, with workers now saying the deductions will make an already bad situation worse.
