An autopsy report of the late Makasi Mwangangi, who died at the Mwingi level four hospitals while giving birth, has revealed that she died of prolonged labor. The death of the 42 year old prompted her family to allege of medical negligence at the health facility. The allegations necessitated the autopsy that was conducted by a Nairobi based pathologist at the hospital morgue.
