The Tamarind Tree Hotel has welcomed the early festive season of 2023 with its annual cake mixing event. During the event, Gavin Bell, the Director of Business Development, mentioned that the management decided to host the event early this year to usher in the much-awaited season. Gerson Misumi, Chair of the Executive Committee at Tamarind Group Management, highlighted the hotel's commitment to excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Executive Chef Robai Wamoto explained that the fermentation process will take approximately 40 days before the cake is ready to be served. Additionally, Tamarind's General Manager, John Musau, stated that the hotel will focus on supporting the less fortunate in society, including orphanages, by providing them with the cake to help alleviate their situation.
