As security agencies in Samburu county and other Pastoralist counties grapple with the perennial problem of cattle rustling, a section of Moran's who have been the perpetrators of the outdated cultural practice in Samburu East sub-county, have come out to condemn the vice and express their readiness to carry out campaigns on how best to end the cattle rustling menace. The group which is undergoing an exchange program aimed at changing their behavior, says their mothers play an integral part whenever they are planning for a raid. Which role do mothers play?
