Top officials at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Enterprise are on the verge of losing their jobs following an audit query. This is after the Public Investment Committee on Governance and Education declared Erastus Mvurya the Managing Director of the enterprise, alongside other official,s incompetent and unfit to hold public office. The officials who were unable to provide sufficient documentation to the Auditor General’s office for the financial year 2022/2023 will also have to pay 500,000 shillings for non-compliance.
