The South Rift Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Fair Competition has kicked off in Kericho County, hosted by Kericho Township Technical and Vocational College.
The two days event which has drawn 23 TVET institutions from Kericho, Nandi, Bomet, Nakuru and Narok Counties, is not only meant for certification, but also offers a platform for youth to showcase their talents and explore future opportunities. During the opening ceremony, Director for TVET Joseph Kanyi said the event themed TVET for Sustainable Development, the Role of Science Technology for Innovation and Economic Resilience, is also expected to address local challenges in agriculture, ICT, service industries, green energy and manufacturing.
