The government will continue to receive loans from international funding bodies but with a different approach to how it will collapse the payments over some time. This is according to government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura who says President Ruto’s government will approach the loan repayments by retiring the short-term interest loans and going for the long-term low-interest loans. This comes as the international monetary fund approved a 150 billion shilling loan to Kenya.
