Six suspects arrested in Kitale raid as police recover stolen electronics and weapons

Police in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, have arrested six suspects and recovered stolen property in a targeted security operation. The early morning raid in Burma Slums on Monday, September 29, 2025, led to the recovery of assorted electronic devices suspected to have been stolen, four litres of chang’aa, and crude weapons believed to have been used in criminal activities. The National Police Service (NPS) confirmed that the suspects are being held in custody pending processing and arraignment.
