Kang’ata Mourns 13 Murang’a Residents Killed in Nakuru Highway Crash

Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang’ata has sent condolences to the families of 13 people from Kandara Constituency who perished in a grisly road accident along the Nakuru–Nairobi Highway. The crash, which occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Kariandusi near Kikopey, involved a head-on collision between a 14-seater matatu and a trailer. Governor Kang’ata urged Kenyans to pray for the bereaved families, describing the tragedy as a heavy blow to the community.
