Kenyatta University’s Dancan Barongo appeals for help after lack of fees forced him to the streets

Dancan Barongo, a bachelor of medicine and surgery student at Kenyatta University, is on the brink of losing his dream of becoming a doctor after dropping out of medical school in 2024. The 25-year-old orphan was in his fifth year when he was forced out of class and into the streets of Githurai 45 due to lack of fees and rent. Barongo, who was rescued last week by well-wishers and offered temporary accommodation, is now appealing for support to clear his fees and revive his dream
