Roads and Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen has filed a defamatory suit against Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei. This is over claims allegedly made by Cherargei that the Transport CS received a sum of fifteen billion shillings as a bribe from Chinese contractors Wu Yi to influence the award of road construction tender under his ministry.
