Eight people are nursing serious injuries at various hospitals in Mikindani, Jomvu constituency, in Mombasa county, after a gang of youths attacked them with machetes on Wednesday night. Police say 5 suspects are in custody as the search for other gang members continues. This came as police in Diani, Kwale county, arrested 50 people suspected to have been involved in violent robberies and recovered a stash of household items.
