President William Ruto has announced that the government will increase incentives for investors in the manufacturing industry to grow the sector to 20 per cent of the country's GDP. Ruto spoke during the commissioning of a Cemtech limited clinker plant in West Pokot County, where he said that the government will not lift duties charged on imports that can be manufactured locally. Ruto further maintained that the government does not have funds to meet the demands of striking doctors.
