KMPDU withdraws critical and emergency care in Kiambu County public health

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union KMPDU has withdrawn critical and emergency care being offered by their members in public health facilities in Kiambu County, to pile pressure on the county government to resolve their grievances among them payment of their seven-month salary arrears. The union has also threatened to stage peaceful demonstrations in Kiambu on Wednesday as the doctor’s strike hit its 128th day.
