450 eye patients set to benefit from a free eye medical camp

    About four hundred and fifty patients, including students and the elderly from Mombasa and Kwale counties are set to benefit from a two-week free eye treatment medical camp in Kwale County. The program, which is being run by Islamic Relief Kenya in collaboration with Islamic Relief Canada, Vision International Kenya, the Kwale Eye Centre and the Kwale County Government is targeting patients with eye cataracts surgery has already been conducted on more than 50 patients in the ongoing exercise to screen those in need of treatment before undergoing operations at Kwale Eye Centre Hospital. Residents in the region have been urged to go for screening at the free eye medical camp.
