Teachers and students of Kilifi Junior Secondary School are calling on the government to ensure full distribution of Competency-Based Education (CBE) equipment to schools across the country, saying it will greatly enhance practical learning and improve academic performance.
Their appeal follows the donation of a portable science laboratory from the SEPU Institute in Kilifi county, which they say has come as a major relief. Students have previously been relying on neighboring schools for their laboratory lessons. The learners and teachers emphasized that access to modern CBE tools is essential in nurturing innovation and strengthening science education.
