A section of Bodaboda operators in Githunguri, in Kiambu County, has expressed concern over the increase in crimes targeting motorbike riders after one of them was murdered and his motorbike stolen, sparking widespread panic among his colleagues.
Speaking in Githunguri town, the operators said incidents have increased in recent days, and called upon the security agencies to act and stop the incidents before they escalate. Residents are also urging the government to increase patrols in areas deemed to be dangerous to ensure the safety of bodaboda operators and residents in general.
