Chief justice Martha Koome has strongly castigated the national police service for withdrawing the security detail of judge Lawrence Mugambi. The judicial service commission is terming the national police service's latest move as an affront to judicial independence and retaliatory moves from the police following judge Lawrence Mugambi’s ruling.
