The Ministry of Health says the rollout of the Social Health Insurance Fund is progressing well despite teething problems in some areas. In a statement the Ministry singled out six areas of concern it was addressing even as they emphasized Kenyans can access free primary healthcare services at level one to three health facilities. The council faulted the National treasury for allocating only 6 billion shillings for the rollout of the program despite investing over 100 billion shillings for the health scheme. Timothy Kipnusu has the update.
