Serikali ya kaunti ya Migori kwa ushirikiano na serikali ya kitaifa imeanzisha harakati ya kuunganisha umeme kwenye vituo vyote vya afya. Afisa mkuu katika idara ya afya Samwel Atula alisema kuna vituo zaidi ya 60 vya afya katika kaunti ya Migori ambavyo havijaunganishwa na umeme akisema kuwa kaunti hiyo imekuwa ikitumia nishati ya jua.Hospitali ya Ongo katika Kaunti Ndogo ya Rongo ni miongoni mwa vituo vilivyonufaika kwa kuunganishiwa umeme baada ya kukaa miezi 8 bila umeme baada ya transfoma iliyokuwa ikihudumia kituo hicho kupata tatizo la kiufundi. Kuunganishwa kwa kituo cha afya cha Ongo na umeme kumeleta afueni kwa wakazi wa eneo hilo ambao wamekuwa na changamoto ya kupata huduma za matibabu kwa sababu ya kukatika kwa umeme.
