At least 100 women above 35 years in Nairobi will benefit from a free breast cancer screening initiative aimed at promoting early detection and saving lives. The initiative launched as part of valentine’s festivities by Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital management and a foundation is expected to encourage Kenyans to prioritize preventive healthcare. The foundation’s CEO Paul Okoth says the initiative will raise awareness on the importance of routine mammograms, and encourage women to take charge of their health.
