Over 1000 persons living in the disputed Njiru land have filed a case challenging the decision to be evicted. They want the case to be certified as urgent and the decision delivered in October be temporarily stayed pending hearing and determination of their case. The residents claim that they they have been residing on the disputed land for over 40 years -50years and the said judgment will affect them. They say that the will suffer irreparable harm if the court does not issue and order staying the execution of the judgement. The court had ruled that they enter into agreement with the Kirima family or vacate the land by december 31st
