23 year Abdilatif Abdi Mirad has received cash rewards and an all-expense paid trip to Mecca, Saudi Arabia for the Umrah spiritual pilgrimage after emerging victorious in the 13th edition of the Quran competitions. While congratulating the winner at the event Muslim leaders urged Muslim youth to study and faithfully follow the teachings of the Quran. The competition was organized by Jamia Mosque Nairobi in collaboration with the Cultural Attaché in the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia-Kenya.
