27-year-old walks 200km from Bomet to Nairobi to raise university fees

A 27-year-old needy student from Bomet has completed a grueling 200-kilometre walk from Bomet to Nairobi in a desperate bid to raise school fees for his university education. Dancan Kibet, who completed his secondary education in 2015, has been unable to enroll in university for more than a decade due to financial constraints. Now, 11 years later, Kibet remains determined not to give up on his dream. During the long-distance walk, he hoped to attract the attention of well-wishers and support his ambition to join a university, where he plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree.
